Taking Care Of Your Piece
Jewelry is precious and should be treated as such. Proper care is best to extend wear and life of your pieces.
Things to remember
- Take it off - When you expect to exercise, do gardening, heavy duty chores, go on a hike, or a run. This protects your piece from sweat, chemicals, hard knocks and protects your fingers while working. This is not to say you cannot do all the above while wearing your piece but as with most things prevention is better than cure. Accidents can happen so it is always better to err on the side of caution
- Keep it safe - either in a jewelry pouch, or jewelry box when not wearing
- Clean it up - once in a while, our pieces love a good bubble bath. A soft bristled toothbrush and some dish soap does the trick. Ensure to keep it far away from a sink.
- Soft gemstones - some gemstones like opal and pearl are that much more delicate and should be treated with extra care. Keep away from water and water-related activities
